Earning 45.5 Million dollars, The Chainsmokers find themselves on the Forbes highest paid list of 2018. At the ages of just 28 and 32, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall are ranked #2 amongst the best of the best in the world of DJs.
Coming in at #59 on the Forbes top 100. The Chainsmokers come in ahead of competitors Diplo, Steve Koki and David Guests. Currently on their soon-to-end stint at Wynn Nightlife, The Chainsmokers are known to be getting at least a nightly six-figures payday for playing sets that include their biggest hits, like “Something Just Like This” and of course, “Closer”.
Formed in 2012, this American DJ and production duo broke through with their first hit “Selfie” and it was a hit in many countries. They followed that hit up with the release of “Roses” on their debut EP, Bouquet. Alex and Andrew took home their first Grammy for Best Dance Recording shortly thereafter.
The release of Memories…Do Not Open saw them achieve even higher milestones including being certified Platinum, as well as hitting the very top of the Billboard charts. The duo describes their sound as “blurring the lines between indie, pop music, dance music and hip-hop”.

By far, The Chainsmokers’ biggest financial windfall has come by way of their 3-year residency contract to entertain at the Wynn Nightlife club. Their Vegas contract was very lucrative and offered the pair a deal of a lifetime. As of 2017, their views on YouTube hit over 290 million
views. Until 2019, The Chainsmokers are under contract exclusively with Wynn-owned nightclubs XS Las Vegas and Encore Beach Club.
