Charlamagne Tha God is an entrepreneur first and foremost. Based in New York born in South Carolina in a small town this radio co-host is making large movements in the hip-hop and social media scene. Similar to the effort of his book, he’s taken a political stance. His new film titled ‘ While I Breathe, I Hope’ is focused on the 2014 campaign of CNN host Bakari Sellers for lieutenant governor.
This film focuses on many issues but above all South Carolina’s rough history of prejudice. Considering Bakari is the first African American to run a political campaign in South Carolina since the 1870s. This is an important political issue worthy of attention.
