Boraie Development and Shaquille O’Neal

The Aspire is a luxury apartment complex located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Boraie Development is the company that made it and runs it. The area where it is located has many young people who like these kind of apartments. They are modern in their design and the apartments located at 135 Somerset St. are in an area where they are close to many things that people often use. They are convenient in this way.

Boraie Development and NBA Star Shaquille O’Neal are doing business together on a building project. Shaquille’s home town is Newark New Jersey. This is where the building will take place. Shaquille wants to make an apartment tower there. It will have 350 apartments and will be located at 777 McCarter Highway in Downtown Newark. The 35-story property will be the “House that Shaq Built” according to the basketball star. Boraie and Shaquille are currently working on an apartment tower located at 1 rector Street. This project has 168 apartment units. It should be finished by the end of the year. Shaquille says that he feels he will be doing something positive for the city and it will make Newark a bit more beautiful. At the location on 1 Rector Street there used to be a school there called Science Park High School. Boraie bought the property about 10 years ago and sometime later a partnership with Shaquille was entered into to develop the project. The old school was torn down and work started and on the new building in October of 2018. The 1 Rector Street property is in a good location. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center is nearby along with other attractions including the Hahne and Company building which is currently the home to Whole Foods and Restaurant. Celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelson works there.

Omar Boraie is a real estate developer. His company is called Boraie Development. In addition to making buildings he has other interests. He made a one and a half million dollar donation so he could help to start the Omar Boraie Chair in Genomic Science for the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He is orginally from Egypt. He achieved an undergraduate degree in chemistry there. He went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick to obtain a doctorate degree. While buying a home his interest in the real estate market was sparked. He has helped many people in his endeavors.
