Rodrigo Terpins is known in Brazil for his profession as a rally car driver. He is not only a rider but also a member of Bull Sertoes rally team together with Michael Terpins, his brother. They both participate in professional circuit racing. He has participated in many rallies across Brazil which have earned him a name in the sports fraternity. With his brother Michael, the Tea Bull Sertoes Rally Team, they have taken part in more than five rallies. Jack Terpins, Rodrigo’s father, is the President of not only Latin American Jewish Council but also Maccabi Latin America Confederation. He is also a former basketball player.
Rodrigo Terpins came up with the idea of Floresvale due to the large number of trees that were being cut without certification. He also wanted to have a business that involved sustainability and the environment. Rodrigo was also concerned about pollution and waste and wanted to eliminate clear cutting which is rampant in Brazil. Rodrigo Terpins went to the University of Sail Hilaire where he gained business management skills. He then worked at Lojas Marisa for 16 years and even rose up to become the President. he then left the company in 2007.believes in keeping up to date with emerging consumer trends. He also insists on constantly analyzing the market and the business competitors. Rodrigo went on to launch his own company in 2008 called T5 Participacoes. This company has been on the forefront when it comes to organizing some of the greatest rallies in Brazil.
Rodrigo took part in the Sertoes together with Fabricio Manchiana who is his partner. They finished third after covering 2600 Kilometers over two states and earned 8th position overall out of 38 teams. The 22nd edition of the Sertoes Rally was considered the largest in Brazil and drew attention from a number of rally drivers, sponsors, and fans. He also participated in the 24th edition of the same and won the fifth position overall and first in the second stage.
